St Patrick Month

This is the month when St Patrick’s day (17th March) is traditionally celebrated all over the world. We’ll be bringing you snapshots of some of the ancient sites from around Ireland, north and south, with which he was associated.

It’s remarkable that the 5th Century saint is more popular today than ever before. Only the COVID restrictions in 2020 and again this year, are preventing the usual massive celebrations in cities all across the world. But there will still be ways to mark the date of his death on Wednesday March 17.
